Life of a housewife

 Life of a housewife is very boring actually. In fact, it can be lonely too.  A friend once complained to me recently it was so monotonous, day in day out she does the same thing. She is looking forward to going back to work after her maternity ends. BTW, she had 1 year of maternity!!!

Life of a housewife is indeed very monotonous and boring. Day in day out we do the same thing, over and over again. Wake up, prepare breakfast. Wake up the kids. Prepare them for school. Send them to school. Go marketing. Maybe gossip abit with some aunties. Go home, do laundry, vacuum the floor, mop the floor, wash toilet, prepare lunch, go fetch the kids, see them eat properly, supervise them on their homework, teach them in their homework, prepare dinner, wash up. 

Once a while there will be something new like washing the bedsheets, wiping the fan, shelves, chasing away pests etc etc...⚆ _ ⚆

We even have to act the role of the counselor, analyst and friend. Listen to them, help them analyze the situation... 你们  懂得  (You all know...)

So when I chat with some working friends, when they know that I am a stay home mom (shm), immediately they say :"WOW!!! So good life!!!"....

I think they have mistaken stay home moms with TaiTais.. I am the maid, the teacher, the counsellor, the chef, the chauffeur, the pest buster, erm... what else??? 

But if I don't do all these things, then who do???

我不入地狱谁入地狱 (If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell) ... 阿彌陀佛 (Amitābha)...... 

Some may say hire maid la.... But we all know hiring maid is not only expensive, they are a time bomb. I have seen so many bad encounters and hear many bad stories that I really do not dare to hire one...

Put student care? Once a friend ever told me student care is complicated.... You go imagine ya... └ ¯ \ _ (◔ل͜◔) _ / ¯

I do the Maths, it is not worthwhile to put my kid in student care...

Takeaway: Its not easy being a housewife/househusband
